Elena Bicker the Executive Director of the Tony La Russa’s Animal Rescue Foundation (ARF) shares her experiences with The Doggie Chronicles listeners sharing tips on adopting animals from a shelter. ARF was founded in 1991 by Tony La Russa, currently the manager of the St. Louis Cardinals, to help local shelters and rescue groups place animals to avoid having them euthanized.
